About Us

The Recruitment Place was established in February 2006, providing temporary and permanent recruitment services. We specialise in:

  • Aviation/Airport recruitment (including Cabin Crew, Passenger Service Agents, Ramp Agents, Baggage Service Agents, Turnaround Coordinators, Despatch Coordinators, Aircraft Cleaners, Managers, Baggage Handlers, Airline Operations staff etc). We also offer a full five year referencing service for airport/aviation staff(see below for more details).
  • Office recruitment (including Secretaries, Administrators, Data Entry Operators, Office Managers, Customer Service, Sales staff, Receptionists and Accounts Assistants etc).
  • Industrial recruitment (including Warehouse Assistants, Managers, Production staff, Labourers, Pickers/Packers, Cleaners etc).
  • Catering recruitment (including Waiting and Bar Staff, Hotel Receptionists, Porters, Housekeepers, Managers – Guest Relations, Duty, Events – Chefs, Kitchen Assistants etc).
  • Accounts (including Accounts and Financial Assistant, Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk – Bought Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Credit Control – Payroll, Management and Financial Accountant, Finance and Financial Controller in Commerce and Industry, Audit and Assurance, Tax and VAT staff in Accountancy Practice).

We work with a wide range of clients from small companies to large blue-chip organisations around Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. Our Airport/Aviation division recruits staff throughout the UK.

The Recruitment Place also has a dedicated Aviation Referencing Department which works with Airlines, Ground Handling Companies, Cleaning companies, shops and restaurants / catering organisations.

We offer a full five year referencing service in accordance with the BAA and other Airport Authorities regulations. This service includes:

  • Full five year referencing completed covering the last five years of the applicant’s history (employed, education, travelling, Job Centre, gap periods etc).
  • Rigorous chasing of references via post, fax, email and telephone to ensure prompt return.
  • Provision of regular updates re referencing progress to our clients (tracking sheets and summary sheets provided).
  • Collating CRC and WRS forms (if applicable).
  • Meticulous paperwork and record keeping.
