Background Referencing
The Recruitment Place has a dedicated Background Referencing division which undertakes meticulous background checks for candidates who are planning to work in restricted areas (such as in restricted landside and airside zones at airports).
We are happy to undertake Background Referencing as part of our Aviation recruitment process or as a purely stand-alone service.
We are very experienced in the referencing process – we have successfully complete full five year referencing for approximately 1000 airport staff per year, enabling candidates to obtain airside passes.
Our referencing procedures are incredibly thorough, complying fully with GAL, BAA and other airport authority regulations. Our procedures have been carefully audited by various airport and non-airport organisations, always with great success.
Our standard service includes:
- Full five year referencing completed covering the last five years of the candidate’s history (employment, self employment, education, periods of unemployment, travelling or gap periods etc) to airport authority regulations.
- Rigorous chasing of references via post, fax, email and telephone to ensure prompt return.
- Provision of regular verbal and written updates re referencing progress to our clients..
- Undertaking Criminal Record Checks.
- Internet, ID and other checks, as required.
- Meticulous paperwork and record keeping.
