Waiting / Bar Staff - temporary

We are urgently searching for experienced Waiting and Bar Staff to assist with  a range of temporary assignments.

The Recruitment Place has a very busy Catering / Hospitality department. We work with a range of top quality hotels, restaurants, bistros, pubs, outside events companies, and other Catering organisations in fanttastic venues around Crawley, Horley, Horsham, Reigate, Redhhill, Haywards Heath and Brighton. Some assignments are long term and ongoing, others are very short term, occasional shifts. Due their temporary, flexible nature, these assignments may suit students, candidates who are looking for second jobs or candidaes who are searching for occasional, part time roles.

The Role

These assignments usually involve assisting with temporary or occasional / ad hoc shifts for special events, parties, weddings, corporate functions and conferences.

Your role will include assisting with setting up, writing orders, serving customers with meals and drinks, clearing away, resolving any problems, tidying up after the event, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The Candidate

Candidates must have some previous Plate Waiting and/or Bar experience, must be friendly, polite and possess excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic to deliver superb customer service.  All candidates must be very smartly presented with the following uniform: black smart long sleeved shirt, white smart long sleeved shirt, black formal trousers, black smart shoes.

Own transport would be advantageous to travel to events in rural areas, however this is not essential.  

Salary, Hours and Benefits

These assignments are temporary, some are long term and others are purely short term / occasional shifts. Many of the shifts offered are in evenings and/or at weekends.

This is a great oppportunity to work in interesting and lovely working conditions. Basic salaries are between £6.00 and £6.75 per hour, plus holiday pay.
