Asset Finance Underwriter (£30000 - £350000)                                                                 

Our client: Finance and Leasing – Major European Bank; UK head office in Surrey – offering small, mid and big ticket finance, funding and leasing for capital assets, buildings etc. across all industries; standard deals or tailor-made packages

 

We are looking for a person ideally with Banking, Loans, Leasing, HP or Asset Finance underwriting experience for this go-ahead relatively new player in the market.

 

Role

You will be part of an integral Risk Team to ensure accurate and timely delivery times from both the new business and arrears perspectives, while working to the specific policies and procedures as set down by company procedures. 

  • Provide underwriting service and support for all areas of the company and team
  • Day to day involvement in the collection of all receivables and taking appropriate action where necessary
  • To manage and complete individual transactions including preparation of credit applications in respect of large ticket credit applications
  • Accurate and detailed reporting to be completed within required timeframes
  • Full compliance with all Risk Policies and Risk Policy updates

 

Hours - Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00 with one hour for lunch

 

Candidate

We are looking for a self motivated and flexible individual with experience in Banking, Loans, Leasing, HP or Asset Finance underwriting experience.

You must have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent level of accuracy and numeracy
  • Previous experience in a finance company, bank, or financial institution
  • Ability to work with senior management within the business
  • Car driver essential
  • Strong MS Office skills, ability to work remotely

 

Salary and Benefits

  • £30000 - £35000  pa + Company performance bonus
