Internal Sales Advisor / Sales Support Executive (£17,500 plus excellent commission)

Our client based in Crawley, West Sussex is searching for an outgoing, organised and experienced Sales Advisor to join a team of 14, supporting the external Sales staff and handling inbound customer calls regarding quotes, sales orders, account queries and service issues.

Job role

This is a stimulating, diverse and fulfilling job role that offers great variety, challenges and excellent earning potential. You will be supporting external sales staff with quotes and client requests, handling all inbound customer orders and proactively spending 1 day a week canvassing for additional sales through new business and warm leads. Main duties:

  • Handling inbound customer sales calls
  • Arranging quotes and following up with client requests
  • Supporting the external sales staff by producing quotes and supporting the sales manager
  • Up selling additional products and services to the customers
  • Working towards sales targets
  • Making outbound calls 1 day a week to increase revenue through promoting full product and services range to a variety of lapsed and new customers

Candidate

We are looking for someone who has outstanding customer service experience and a working history in telephone sales; used to processing customer orders and handling all relevant administration. You will be experienced in producing quotes, logging records and liaising with other staff. You must have:

  • Experience in telephone sales
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong IT and organisational skills

Hours

Monday – Friday, 08:45 – 17:15 with one hour for lunch

Benefits

£17,500 basic salary plus excellent commission structure

20 days rising to 23 days
