IATA Ticketing Consultant - Newbury - Full Time - £17k - £22k

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Ticketing Consultant to join Newbury’s leading Travel Company. We are looking for an ideal candidate to join a professional travel team with excellent knowledge of the Travel product and industry.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Good knowledge of GDS (Galileo & Amadeus) is essential
  • Good ticketing knowledge (GDS ticket re-issues inc. sterling and other internal currency, VMPD’s, MPD’s, ADM’s)
  • An understanding of net contracts, IT/BT net tickets and published fares, issuing group tickets and balancing of the BSP
  • Attention to detail with 100% accuracy
  • Ability to analyse issues and offer clear, uncomplicated explanations to queries
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Use own initiative
  • Good travel industry knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer literate (including knowledge of Excel, internet, email and Word)
  • Other general administration and ticketing duties will apply

Salary is negotiable, Must have travel experience and experience within a ticketing role. Must have good knowledge of the Travel and IATA product .

Full time hours, 09.00 – 1800, working every other Saturday.
